Treasury Revamps Global Marketing, Naming Michelle Terry As CMO

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has restructured its global marketing operations and appointed Michelle Terry as its chief marketing officer. Simon Marton, the prior CMO, has left the company. Terry has previously served as head of marketing at TWE for the U.S. and Latin America and as the global marketing director for Penfolds.

The appointment shifts TWE’s global marketing operations to the U.S., with the company’s Melbourne, Australia office now reporting to Terry in the U.S. In recent days, TWE also named Gunther Burghardt as executive vice president, operations for the Americas, aiming to continue improving the company’s U.S. business, alongside TWE Americas president Robert Foye.
