A-B’s Peacock, Last Senior Member Of Pre-InBev Team, Resigns
January 23, 2012Anheuser-Busch president Dave Peacock, who has led U.S. operations at the brewer since its 2008 takeover by Belgium’s InBev, has resigned. Luiz Edmond, North American zone president for Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI), will assume Peacock’s duties in the U.S. market while also retaining his current role, according to multiple reports citing an internal ABI memo.
Peacock, who served as A-B’s vice president, marketing, before being elevated to president following the sale to InBev, joined the company in 1992, and was the last remaining management link to the pre-takeover Anheuser-Busch regime. He’ll continue to serve in an advisory role, the ABI memo said.
