Sierra Nevada Reportedly Chooses North Carolina Site For New East Coast Brewery

Sierra Nevada Brewing Company has settled on North Carolina’s Henderson County as the location of its new East Coast brewery and taproom, according to local media reports. An official statement is expected this week, following a news conference from North Carolina governor Beverly Perdue. Chico, California-based Sierra Nevada began scouting East Coast brewery locations last year, also considering areas in Tennessee and Virginia as potential sites. At press time, no one at the brewery was immediately available for comment.
