Total Wine & More Launches Website Sales
February 3, 2012Total Wine & More has launched a new e-commerce website that allows consumers to shop online. The new site (www.totalwine.com) lets customers browse inventory based on preferred store location, as well as buy and pay online and then pick up in-store. Direct-to-consumer shipping of wine, beer and spirits from the site is available now to residents in California, with additional states to be added in the coming months. Shipping is also available for gift cards and accessories to all 50 states.
Other features on the new site include recommendations for customers based on previously-selected products and educational information as well as a calendar of events, classes and tastings for each Total Wine location. “The step into web commerce provides a much needed outlet for us to grow our business and increase our customer reach,” David Trone, co-owner of Total Wine & More, told Shanken News Daily.
