Phillips Distilling Preps Several June Rollouts

April 13, 2012

Phillips Distilling Co. is planning multiple new product introductions this June, including two additions to its UV vodka line and a new wheat vodka, as well as the reintroduction of two brands, Sno Shoe Grog and Gin-Ka.

The two UV vodka flavors, which have yet to be announced, will join the existing 14-flavor UV range, as well as its 80-proof and 103-proof non-flavored UV expressions. Originally introduced in 1963, Sno Shoe Grog is a 30%-abv brandy and peppermint schnapps, while Gin-Ka, which dates back to 1971, is a blend of gin and vodka. Details on the new wheat vodka brand weren’t available at press time.

Phillips recently told Shanken News Daily it expects UV to reach 1.7 million cases this year, driven in part by fast-rising UV Cake, which is projected to hit 500,000 cases after launching just last June.
