Grand Marnier To Release New Cherry Flavor

Grand Marnier today officially unveiled Grand Marnier Cherry ($41.99 a 750-ml.), a new flavor extension reported on exclusively by Shanken News Daily on March 26. Cherry will start shipping in September. Marnier-Lapostolle says the limited-edition extension is “inclusive of the orange spirit the brand is best known for, but also blends the essence of natural European Griottes cherries.” Other limited-edition Grand Marnier flavors are expected to follow each holiday season. Marketed by Moët Hennessy USA, Grand Marnier sold 483,000 cases on 2% growth in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.
