•Pittsburgh’s Penn Brewery has unveiled its fall seasonal lineup, which will include Penn Oktoberfest and Penn Harvest Rye IPA. A popular returning seasonal, Penn Oktoberfest is described as a golden-colored, Munich-style fest beer brewed with caramel and roasted malts. The 5.5%-abv offering will begin shipping on August 6 and will be available in kegs and 12-ounce bottles. Harvest Rye, which features two-row, black and caramel malts combined with rye and an abv of 6%, was previously only available in limited amounts. This year, the beer will be available in kegs, 22-ounce bottles and 12-ounce bottles in Penn’s Gourmet Selection variety packs starting October 1. Established in 1986, Penn Brewery specializes in German-style craft beers, including its core Penn Pilsner, Penn Dark and Penn Weizen labels, among others. The brewer’s current distribution footprint includes Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Florida and Illinois.
