•Colorado’s Woody Creek Distillers is set to make its debut with six ultra-premium spirits offerings. In addition to its core vodka brands, Woody Creek Potato Vodka and Reserve Stobrawa Potato Vodka, the company’s products include Baby Bourbon, Gin, Apple Brandy and Pear Eau de Vie, all sourced locally from the Aspen Valley. Another label, Olathe Corn Whiskey, is in production and scheduled for release in 2015, after a stint of aging in American white oak barrels. Woody Creek expects to distribute 10,000 cases of spirits in 2013.

•Afton, Virginia-based Blue Mountain Brewery is set to enter the New Jersey market through a partnership with Hunterdon Brewing Co. The inaugural launch, beginning early next month, will include four ales—Mandolin, Local Species, Dark Hollow and Sour Devil. They will also release core products from their Blue Mountain series, like Full Nelson Pale Ale and Kölsch 151, into the New Jersey market next year. Blue Mountain currently operates in two facilities—the original Blue Mountain Brewery and the newly opened Blue Mountain Barrel House—that produce a combined 10,000 barrels of beer a year. They are also in the midst of building a third facility to increase production and keep up with demand. With the addition of the New Jersey market, Blue Mountain’s brews will be available in six states along the East Coast.
