Brown-Forman Adds Flavors To Canadian Mist

Brown-Forman’s Canadian Mist blended Canadian whisky brand is officially launching its new Mist Flavors range in the U.S. Rolling out this month, the Mist Flavors lineup includes Peach Mist, Cinnamon Mist and Maple Mist expressions. SND originally reported news of the upcoming flavor launch January 7. Each 70-proof entry is made with a blend of Canadian Mist’s core offering and a proprietary flavored liqueur. Initially available in 14 select markets, the trio will be offered in 50-ml. and 750-ml. formats, priced at around $9.99 a 750-ml.

The Mist Flavors join several existing flavored Canadian whisky options in the U.S. market, including Canadian Club’s Dock No. 57 Blackberry (Beam), Black Velvet Toasted Caramel (Constellation) and Crown Royal Maple Finished (Diageo). Canadian Mist’s depletions were down 3% to 1.6 million nine-liter cases in Brown-Forman’s fiscal year ending in April, while net sales slipped 1%.
