•Downington, Pennsylvania’s Victory Brewing has unveiled plans to build a second brewpub in nearby Kennett Square. Called Victory at Magnolia, the new 8,234-square-foot venue is set to open in the second quarter of 2014 and will feature a five barrel brewhouse, 250-seat restaurant and outdoor dining space. In addition to Victory’s core lineup, the Victory at Magnolia brewhouse will also produce exclusive, site-specific offerings. Established in 1996, Victory Brewing is currently present in around 31 U.S. markets, known for core labels such as HopDevil IPA, Headwaters Pale Ale, Prima Pils and Golden Monkey. Along with its second brewpub, the craft brewer is currently constructing a second production facility in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, which is expected to be operational this fall.

•Craft Brew Alliance’s Redhook Brewery has partnered with Resignation Brewery to launch KCCO Black Lager. Originally created as a homebrew by the Resignation team, KCCO will be brewed and distributed by Redhook starting this fall. The 5.2%-abv brew will initially be available in the New York City, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Dallas, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles markets, with nationwide expansion slated for early 2014. Based in Venice, California, Resignation Brewery is a subsidiary of Resignation Media, an entertainment and digital media company.
