The variety pack will be available beginning next month in select retailers across the country, as well as at the brewer’s taproom. Each variety pack will feature Anchor Steam Beer, Anchor Porter, Liberty Ale and Original Wheat (a re-creation that is now available exclusively in the Craft Originals pack), as well as an educational and tasting notes sheet. Anchor Brewing is currently in the midst of an expansion project that is slated to increase production capacity to approximately 600,000 barrels per year.

Green Flash’s beers will be available on draft and in bottles in Minnesota beginning October 1, including core beers such as West Coast IPA, Hop Head Red, Double Stout and Le Freak, as well as seasonal and specialty selections like Green Bullet Triple IPA and the Hop Odyssey draft-only series. San Diego-based Green Flash Brewing was founded in 2002 by husband and wife team Mike and Lisa Hinkley, and will be available in 43 states across the country with the addition of Minnesota.

•Mukilteo, Washington-based Diamond Knot Brewing has released its new Vienna Ale. The brew is available now through October in 22-ounce bombers and on draft throughout Washington and Oregon, as well as across Total Wine & More’s retail footprint. Billed as a German-style ale, Vienna (5.6% abv) is Diamond Knot’s own version of an Octoberfest, featuring amber red coloring. Diamond Knot produces a core portfolio of eight year-round bottled and draft offerings, as well as various seasonals. The brewer is also in the process of expanding its operations this year with a new 8,900-square-foot brewpub, slated to open in October.
