The Macallan single malt Scotch has released the latest entry in its limited Masters of Photography series, the Elliott Erwitt Edition. A collection of 35 unique single-cask whiskies, each paired with a different 11”x14” print signed by photographer Elliott Erwitt, the new expression is packaged in a 375-ml. glass flask hidden inside a photo-archival book. Worldwide, 2,030 Elliott Erwitt Edition packs will be released, with 320 of the packs allocated for the U.S. market. Launching globally this month, The Masters of Photography: Elliott Erwitt Edition is priced at $1,500. The Erwitt entry follows The Macallan’s previous Masters of Photography collaborations with Annie Leibovitz, Albert Watson and Rankin.

•Argentine winemaker Valentin Bianchi is projecting that its New Age White brand, which has become popular as a “cocktail wine” served with ice and a squeeze of lime, by year-end will have sold just under 600,000 cases in the U.S. market since its debut in 2006. The brand’s U.S. depletions reached 141,000 cases last year, with more than 150,000 cases projected for 2013. New Age White retails at around $10-$11 a 750-ml. Valentin Bianchi is imported by Quintessential Wines.

•Hiro Sake is expanding distribution in the Southeast with new distribution deals in Georgia and Florida. After a test period in Miami, Hiro is now branching out in the Florida market to Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Orlando and Tampa through Southern Wine & Spirits. In Georgia, Hiro has partnered with Northeast Sales Distributing Company to move first into Atlanta, then to Savannah and Columbia before rolling out statewide. Led by Hiro Red ($29.99 a 720-ml.) and Hiro Blue ($39.99), the brand, which initially appeared in 2011, is growing at double-digit rates. In addition to Georgia and Florida, Hiro is distributed in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
