Banfi’s Marc Goodrich Named President Of Excelsior Wines

October 31, 2013

Excelsior Wine Co.—the U.S. joint venture between Chile’s Concha y Toro and Banfi Vintners—has named former Banfi COO Marc Goodrich as its president. In his new role, Goodrich will be responsible for overseeing Excelsior’s South American wine portfolio—including Concha y Toro and Argentina’s Trivento—as well as bolstering the company’s domestic offerings, which include Little Black Dress and Five Rivers.

Goodrich says his primary goal will be to “build on Excelsior’s role as the largest importer of South American wines in the U.S. through a careful expansion of core brands, coupled with strategic new introductions.” Additionally, Goodrich will continue to serve as vice president and treasurer of Banfi Vintners, as well as advise on Banfi’s overseas operations.
