•Anheuser-Busch has decided to extend availability of its popular Bud Light Lime Cran-Brrr-Rita through January following strong sales of the limited-edition seasonal offering. Since the malt beverage’s release in November, demand for the Cranberry Margarita/Bud Light Lime combination has led to stock shortages nationwide, A-B says. Already among the leading flavored malt beverages in the market, according to IRI, Cran-Brrr-Rita was initially intended as a holiday offering following the success of Bud Light Lime’s Lime-A-Rita and Straw-Ber-Rita. The latter, launched in March, has been the strongest-selling flavored malt beverage in the U.S. in recent months. Cran-Brrr-Rita is sold in 12-packs of 8-ounce cans and single 25-ounce cans.
