•Edwards, Colorado-based Crazy Mountain Brewing Co. has added a new label—Neomexicanus Native Pale Ale—to its core portfolio. Made with the Humulus Lupulus Neomexicanus hop, a largely unknown variety native to the southwest U.S., the 6%-abv offering is characterized by lemon, lime and guava notes and a moderate acidity. Crazy Mountain partnered with CLS Farms in Yakima, Washington, to brew the Humulus Lupulus Neomexicanus hop, which formerly had only been commercially used by California’s Sierra Nevada. Joining eight year-round entries and three seasonals in Crazy Mountain’s existing lineup, Neomexicanus Native Pale Ale will be available across the Colorado, Texas and California markets.
