Campari America Shakes Up Sales Structure, Creating SWS And RNDC-Devoted Units

Campari America has restructured its sales organization in an effort to accommodate its expanding portfolio and better align with distributor partners. Effective immediately, Campari America has established two new sales units—a Southern Wine & Spirits (SWS) sales unit and a Republic National Distributing Co. (RNDC)/Independent sales unit. The SWS unit will be led by vice president sales Dan Vanderbilt, formerly regional vice president of the East, while the RNDC/Independent unit will be led by vice president sales Jock MacDonald, formerly regional vice president for control states.

Both Vanderbilt and MacDonald have been with Campari for more than 10 years. Additionally, Campari America SWS West sales director Rick Monkarsh has been promoted to vice president business development. Monkarsh, MacDonald and Vanderbilt will all report to Campari America managing director Roy Danis, who said the change was necessitated by the growing diversity of the company’s portfolio. Over the past year alone, Campari America has added Wild Turkey Spiced, Wild Turkey Forgiven, Appleton Estate, Wray & Nephew, Aperol, Cabo Diablo and X-Rated’s Tropix to its stable.
