•Riviera Imports’ Ron Burgundy blended Scotch whisky has surpassed sales volume of 180,000 bottles (15,000 cases) after less than four months on the market. Launched in late December, the brand was initially limited to just 6,000 cases. Retail sales for Ron Burgundy, meanwhile, have reached $1 million per month since its debut, according to Riviera Imports. Named after the main character in the popular “Anchorman” film franchise, Ron Burgundy Scotch is produced by Scotland’s St. Andrews Distillery and priced at around $25 a 750-ml. The recently launched entry is currently available in 30 states.
