Foley Enters Oregon With Four Graces Buy

April 1, 2014

Foley Family Wines has acquired The Four Graces winery, based in the Willamette Valley’s Dundee Hills region, for an undisclosed sum, marking Foley’s first move into Oregon. The purchase includes The Four Graces business, the winery’s tasting room and a pair of vineyards totaling 95 acres.

The Four Graces was founded by Paula Marie and Steven Black in 2003, and specializes in estate-grown Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc priced between $20-$75 a bottle. The winery has earned five 90+ scores from Wine Spectator since 2008.

Foley Family Wines chairman Bill Foley said The Four Graces’ position in high-quality Pinot Noir made it an attractive asset. The Oregon winery will join Foley Family’s existing wine portfolio spanning California, Washington and New Zealand.
