•Proximo Spirits’ 1800 Tequila has introduced 1800 Milenio, an ultra-premium extra-aged offering. Matured for five years and then finished in French Cognac casks for four months, 1800 Milenio is characterized by vanilla, cinnamon and spice notes. The 40%-abv entry will be available at retail in select markets this spring, priced at $125 a 750-ml. This year’s launch marks 1800’s second edition of Milenio, the first of which was produced in 2000. 1800 Tequila surpassed the million-case threshold on 13% growth last year, earning Impact “Hot Brand” honors.

•Vermont Hard Cider’s Woodchuck cider brand has launched the latest expression in its limited edition Cellar Series. Available nationwide through May, Woodchuck Cellar Series Mint is made with Vermont McIntosh and Irish bittersweet apples, as well as spearmint leaves. The 6.9%-abv entry follows January’s release of Woodchuck Cellar Series Chocolate. In other company news, Woodchuck has released its blueberry-infused Summer Seasonal label in 12-ounce cans nationwide. An Impact “Hot Brand,” Woodchuck was up 11% to 2.8 million (2.25-gallon) cases last year, according to Impact Databank.
