Exclusive: Terlato Adds Italy’s Anselmi To Luxury Stable
April 30, 2014Terlato Wines has been named the U.S. importer for Northern Italy’s Anselmi winery. Based in the Veneto region, Anselmi focuses on upscale white wines made primarily from the Garganega grape. Terlato will initially feature four of the winery’s offerings, including San Vincenzo, composed of 70% Garganega and a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and other varietals; Capitel Foscarino, 90% Garganega and 10% Chardonnay; Capitel Croce, a 100% Garganega from the Monteforte area; and I Capitelli, a 100% Garganega dessert wine from the Monteforte and Soave areas.
The Anselmi wines, which range in price from around $18 to $50 a bottle, have earned numerous 90+ scores from Wine Spectator and been featured among the magazine’s annual Top 100 Wines feature. They join the Berlucchi, Ca’Marcanda, Colavita, Cusumano, Fizz 56, GAJA, Goretti, Il Poggione, Mazzoni, Nino Franco, Santa Margherita and Torresella brands in Terlato’s Italian wine stable.
