Edrington Targets U.S. Market With Launch Of Edrington Americas Unit

Edrington, the Scotland-based spirits group whose portfolio includes The Macallan, Famous Grouse, Cutty Sark and Highland Park Scotch whiskies as well as Brugal rum and Snow Leopard vodka, has established Edrington Americas, a wholly-owned sales, marketing and distribution company for the U.S. market.

The new Edrington Americas unit will have an expanded New York headquarters and new regional offices in Miami, Chicago, Dallas and Orange County. Edrington says it’s supporting the new operation by quadrupling the company’s U.S. headcount, and added that it has signed new long-term agreements including Charmer Sunbelt Group, Martignetti Companies, Republic National Distributing Company, Wirtz Beverage Group and Young’s Market Company.

The launch of the new Americas unit follows last year’s opening of distribution and marketing companies last year in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
