•Bend, Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery will enter the Wisconsin market on July 1 this year through a statewide partnership with Wirtz Beverage Wisconsin. Launch events will run the week of July 14. Deschutes’ Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, Chainbreaker White IPA and summer seasonal Twilight Summer Ale will be available in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft. Over the past few years, Deschutes has expanded capacity at its main brewing facility to 450,000 barrels and entered new markets like Ohio, Kentucky and central and western Pennsylvania, with a Michigan launched expected later this year.

•Eugene, Oregon-based Ninkasi Brewing Co. has unveiled Wünderbier, the latest entry in the craft brewer’s Seasonal Release Series. A Kölsch-style ale, Wünderbier is billed as a light, sessionable entry ideal for summertime consumption. The 4.4%-abv offering will be available from June through August in 12- and 22-ounce bottles, as well as on draft. Along with Wünderbier, Ninkasi’s rotating Seasonal Release Series also includes the Renewale 2014, Spring Reign and Sleigh’r labels.
