Longtime Drinks Executive Charlie Sipple Dies At 76
May 22, 2014Charlie Sipple, a longtime drinks industry executive, died yesterday of natural causes. He was 76. Sipple had been with Sidney Frank Importing Co. since 1997, and was most recently division vice president, duty free, off-shore and military. Sipple, who began his career in the drinks business with Seagram, was also a top executive at Jim Beam Brands, Kobrand Corp. and Renfield Importers.
“Charlie was the most genuine of human beings. His kindness, warmth, and his unwavering dedication will be greatly missed by all,” said Sidney Frank Importing Co. in a statement.
