Drambuie Liqueur Brand Is On The Block

Scottish liqueur Drambuie has been put on the selling block by owners the MacKinnon family. The brand, currently produced by Suntory’s Morrison Bowmore, is valued around £100 million ($169m), according to the Financial Times. Known for its part in the Rusty Nail cocktail, Drambuie posted net sales down 3% to £22 million ($37m) in its last full fiscal year, ended last June. Drambuie sells around 70,000 cases annually in the U.S. market, where it’s handled by Bacardi USA.
