May 23, 2014•San Jose, California-based Gordon Biersch Brewing Company is celebrating 25 years in business with the limited re-release of its first beer, Dunkles. The unfiltered dark lager will be available in 750-ml. bottles in select markets and in California at retailers such as Safeway, Costco, Lundardi’s, BevMo, Lucky’s, Raley’s/Nob Hill and others. Additional markets and retailers will be announced in coming weeks. Dunkles features dark roasted Munich malts with a balanced bitterness, according to the company. Gordon Biersch says it has doubled its annual production capacity to 4 million gallons.
