•Bacardi has officially launched the new XO expression of its Cognac brand, d’Ussé, originally reported by SND March 27. Available in limited quantities across the U.S., d’Ussé XO “will be seeded via exclusive introductions to trade and cultural influencers,” Bacardi says, retailing at $230 a 750-ml. The d’Ussé brand debuted with a VSOP Cognac ($45) in 2012, and has enjoyed a “highly successful” rollout, according to the company.

•U.S. importer Maurice Cooper and Co. is releasing a new 375-ml. 12-pack case for its Domaine de Canton French ginger liqueur nationwide next month. The company is also debuting a limited edition value-added pack for strawberry-flavored whiskey Sweet Revenge. The packaging will feature a 750-ml. bottle of Sweet Revenge (38.5% abv) with two of seven collectible shot glasses and will be released in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Florida in June and July. Both products will be available for a suggested retail price of $19.99. The company recently told SND that it expects Domaine de Canton and Sweet Revenge to each grow by around 30% in volume this year.
