•Bend, Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery is prepping the release of three new specialty entries this month. The annual anniversary edition of Deschutes’ flagship Black Butte Porter, Black Butte XXVI, will rollout in late June. Available in limited quantities, this year’s barrel-aged iteration is made with cranberries, pomegranate molasses and cocoa nibs. Concurrently, the craft brewer will debut Doppel Dinkel Bock, a 10.5%-abv Imperial Spelt Beer created in collaboration with Germany’s Distelhauser and the third entry in its Conflux Series. Lastly, Deshutes has launched Foray Belgian Style IPA, a brand new addition to its Bond Street Series. Available through September, Foray is billed as a 6.5%-abv, medium-bodied Belgian-style IPA. All three offerings will be sold in 22-ounce bottles and on draft, available across most of Deschutes’ 25-state footprint.

•Escondido, California-based Stone Brewing Co. has released Quadrotriticale, the latest entry in the brewer’s experimental Stone Stochasticity Project series. A new spin on a Belgian-style quadruple ale, Quadrotriticale is brewed with triticale, a hybrid of rye and wheat grains. The 9.3%-abv brew, which blends the spicy character of rye with a smooth wheat mouthfeel, can be consumed right away or stored for up to several years. Stone Stochasticity Project Quadrotriticale is currently available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft across 41 U.S. markets.

•Hood River, Oregon’s Full Sail Brewing Company has hired 30-year industry veteran Andy Krakauer as vice president of sales. Krakauer previously served as a regional chain director for MillerCoors as well as an area vice president for Coors and general manager for SABMiller in Michigan and Illinois.
