•Holland, Michigan-based craft brewery and distillery New Holland Brewing Company will begin distributing its products to New England in mid-June through L. Knife & Son companies and their distribution branches in the region. A variety of New Holland beers and spirits—including Mad Hatter IPA, Dragon’s Milk Barrel-Aged Stout and Beer Barrel Bourbon—will be available on- and off-premise in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. In 2012, the company tripled its brewing capacity with the addition of a centrifuge and cellar expansion, while last year it expanded its distilling capabilities.

•Bend, Oregon’s 10 Barrel Brewing Co. has released the first beer in a series of rotating 22-ounce bottles. Beer No. 1 is Cherry Tart, a brown ale brewed from six different malts and aged with tart cherries post-fermentation. In addition to 22-ounce bombers, the series will be available in limited draft release throughout Oregon, Idaho and Washington while supplies last. 10 Barrel’s portfolio of craft beers also includes Apocalypse IPA, O.G. Wheat IPA, Sinistor Black Ale and Swill American Radler.
