•Shiner, Texas-based Spoetzl Brewery has aligned with seven distributors in Massachusetts for the launch of its Shiner beers statewide this month. Atlas Distributing, Inc.; Burke Distributing Corporation; Girardi Distributors LLC; L. Knife & Sons, Inc.; Merrimack Valley Distributing Company, Inc.; Quality Beverage Limited Partnership and Williams Distributing Company, Inc. will bring the Shiner portfolio to the state, where Boston had been the largest U.S. city where the beers were not available. The flagship Bock will be released, as well as Shiner White Wing, current seasonal Ruby Red Bird, Bohemian Black Lager, Wild Hare Pale Ale, Shiner Premium, and limited editions Kosmos Reserve and Shiner Kölsch.

•This weekend, Fort Collins, Colorado’s Odell Brewing Company is releasing the latest beer in its Cellar Series, Fifty Niner. A golden ale featuring Brettanomyces yeast and aged in-house for eight weeks, Fifty Niner is named for the Colorado gold rush of 1859 and should be consumed within one year. Fifty Niner will be available in 750-ml. cork and cage bottles in Odell’s 11-state distribution footprint.
