•Sheffield, Massachusetts-based Berkshire Mountain Distillers is introducing Greylock Gin & Tonic, a new ready-to-drink gin and tonic cocktail. The 13.3%-abv small-batch RTD is made with a base of Berkshire Mountain’s Greylock gin, which features a blend of seven botanicals, and a house tonic, produced using cinchona bark and various spices. Rolling out on August 1 across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Georgia and Massachusetts, Greylock Gin & Tonic is available in four-packs of 200-ml. bottles, priced at $15. Additional markets are slated to be added in the coming months. Along with the Greylock brand, Berkshire Mountain’s portfolio includes the Berkshire Bourbon, Ragged Mountain rum, New England corn whiskey, Ice Glen vodka and limited edition Ethereal gin entries.

•Atlanta, Georgia’s SweetWater Brewing Company is poised to enter the Ohio market later this summer following a recent $19 million brewery expansion. While distribution partners are still being confirmed, SweetWater expects to begin shipments of its craft beers in September to Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, Akron, Youngstown and Canton. In 2012, the brewery’s capacity was quadrupled through an expansion project and last year SweetWater began shipping to new states for the first time since 2008, including entry into Kentucky, Louisiana and Virginia. The company plans to also expand to Mississippi and Texas later this year, which will bring its distribution footprint to 12 states.

•Concord, California-based Black Diamond Brewing Company is making its debut in the New Mexico market this week. The company specializes in West Coast style, hop-forward beers, Belgian style ales and barrel-aged beers. Its portfolio includes Rampage Imperial IPA, Peak XV Imperial Porter and Moesaic Session IPA. Black Diamond, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, sells its beers in 12 states.
