Concha y Toro’s Casillero Del Diablo Debuts New Devil’s Collection

August 5, 2014

Concha y Toro’s flagship Casillero del Diablo brand is launching a new line of Chilean blends under the moniker Devil’s Collection. The range makes its debut with Devil’s Collection White 2012, which features Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer from the Casablanca Valley, and Devil’s Collection Red 2012, made with Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from the Rapel Valley. Both offerings are priced at $15 a 750-ml. Casillero del Diablo—which is handled in the U.S. by Excelsior Wines, the joint marketing venture between Concha y Toro and Banfi Vintners—was up 4% to nearly 400,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.
