•Boonville, California-based Anderson Valley Brewing Company has released Pinchy Jeek Barl, its first Bourbon barrel-aged pumpkin ale in the Wild Turkey Barl Series. Available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft, the 8.5%-abv ale Pinchy Jeek Barl is aged for several months in Wild Turkey 101 barrels and features sweet caramel flavors with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice, the company says. Other beers in Anderson Valley’s barrel-aged series include Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout, Boont Barl and Huge Arker Imperial Stout.
•San Francisco’s Speakeasy Ales & Lagers has debuted the third release in its 22-ounce Limited Series lineup, Untouchable IPA. Originally launched as a pale ale years ago, the beer’s recipe was reworked into a West Coast IPA style, with Nelson Sauvin and Centennial hops. Untouchable, at 6.8% abv, is available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft until September. Speakeasy’s craft offerings can currently be found in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.
•Escondido, California-based Stone Brewing Co. has released Stone Coffee Milk Stout, a specialty beer for the summer and fall seasons. Available in 12-ounce six-packs and on draft in select markets across the U.S., the 4.2%-abv stout is based on brewer Brian Gallagher’s homebrew recipe and is made with lactose and whole coffee beans. The session ale is recommended to be served within 120 days of its bottling date.
