Patrón Spirits, One Of Biggest Spirits Ad Spenders, On Hunt For New Agency

Patrón Spirits has announced that it’s seeking a new creative agency to replace incumbent Cramer-Krasselt, which will not defend. The search will be led by Patrón global chief marketing officer Lee Applbaum, who will be looking for agencies capable of delivering creative that will resonate “not only within the ultra-premium spirits category but more broadly across global luxury brands.” A new agency partner is expected to be announced in November. Patrón Spirits has made its flagship Patrón Tequila one of spirits’ top ad spenders over the past few years. In 2013, the brand’s measured U.S. media spend was $34.1 million, according to Kantar Media.
