•Munich, Germany’s Hacker-Pschorr Brewery is releasing the fourth and final beer in its limited release specialty series for this year, Animator. The doppelbock is an unfiltered lager available in collectible 16.9-ounce swing-top bottles across the U.S. It features notes of chocolate, brown sugar, licorice, apricot and exotic fruit, the company says. Animator follows fellow 2014 Hacker-Pschoor specialty series beers Hubertus Bock, Sternweisse and Oktoberfest, which debuted earlier this year. Other styles from the brewery include Weisse, Weisse Dark and Munich Gold. The Hacker-Pschorr portfolio is imported by Paulaner HP USA.

•Downingtown, Pennsylvania-based Victory Brewing Company is bringing back its holiday seasonal Winter Cheers, available now through mid-January. The 6.7%-abv wheat ale combines German wheat and barley malts, oats, torrified wheat and whole flower Tettnang and Citra hops. Winter Cheers, which originally debuted a year ago, can be found throughout Victory’s 35-state distribution footprint on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles for about $9.99. Earlier this month, Victory also launched new limited release Harvest Ale throughout its distribution network.
