Impact 39th Annual Marketing Seminar Program Announced

New York-based M. Shanken Communications, Inc. has announced the program for the 39th Annual Impact Marketing Seminar, the preeminent global conference for the beverage alcohol industry. The event will take place on Thursday, March 19th at The Pierre in New York City.

The roster of speakers and their topics are:

•Peter McDonough, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer of Diageo North America, “Diageo’s Luxury Branding”

•Michael Clarke, CEO of Treasury Wine Estates, “The Globalization of Wine Marketing”

•Annette Alvarez-Peters, Assistant General Merchandise Manager, Beverage Alcohol, Costco Wholesale, “Costco’s Beverage Strategy”

•Jim Lecinski, VP, Customer Solutions & Chief ZMOT Evangelist, Google, “Winning Beverage Consumers at the Zero Moment of Truth”

•Dennis Crowley, Founder and CEO, Foursquare, “Understanding the Millennial Bar Experience”

“This may be our most exciting program ever, as we’ve expanded our horizons to take a broad look at today’s marketing landscape,” said Marvin R. Shanken, Chairman of M. Shanken Communications, Inc. and host of the conference. “As usual, we expect that the Seminar will be sold out.”

The Impact Seminar will also feature a welcoming reception for all registrants on Wednesday, March 18 from 6 to 8pm

, hosted by Jim Clerkin, President & CEO of Moët Hennessy USA. The special luncheon speaker on the day of the conference isn’t announced ahead of time, but speakers of the last few years have included David Petraeus, former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.
