November 21, 2014Italian and French vintners faced challenging conditions in their 2014 harvests, but Wine Spectator reports that winemakers from both countries are optimistic about the results. Most notably, following three consecutive vintages of decreasing quality and quantity, Bordeaux vintners are breathing a huge sigh of relief after a late spate of warm, sunny weather resulted in a strong performance from Cabernet Sauvignon.
