•Craft Brew Alliance’s Hawaii-based Kona Brewing will expand into nine new markets next year, bringing it to full national distribution by Summer 2015. Kona’s upcoming launch states will include Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma and West Virginia. Kona, which has experienced double-digit growth for five years running, produces the Longboard Island Lager and Big Wave Golden Ale brews among others.

•Gatlinburg-based Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine has released its latest and highest-proof offering, Blue Flame. The 128-proof clear moonshine is made according to a family recipe and process, the company says. For now, Blue Flame is available exclusively at Ole Smoky’s two distilleries in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for $34.95 a bottle, with potential for further distribution in the future. The company currently offers 13 flavors of moonshine nationally, including its Original Moonshine (100 proof).
