•Upstate New York’s Ithaca Beer Company is releasing an American-style Kolsch seasonal, Ithaca Daydreamer. Brewed with traditional German Kolsch yeast, Daydreamer is a blend of Pilsner, 2-Row and German malts, which results in a fruity, slightly sweet aroma, the company says. The 7%-abv offering will be available on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles until early spring. Ithaca’s year-round offerings include Flower Power, Pale Ale, Nut Brown, Cascazilla and Apricot Wheat Ale.

•Oregon-based Ninkasi Brewing has collaborated with Virginia’s Devils Backbone Brewing on a new seasonal brew, The Devil Went Down To Oregon. An imperial dark rye, the new beer was made with West Coast hops, Dark and Crystal rye, and fermented with an Alt yeast strain. The Devil Went Down To Oregon (7.2% abv) will be available from January to April in 22-ounce bottles and on draft in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, as well as Alberta and British Columbia, Canada.
