Patrón Tequila Crosses 2 Million Cases, As New Roca Extension Shows Strong Start

January 8, 2015

Patrón Spirits saw its flagship Patrón Tequila brand achieve a solid 4% advance to pass the 2-million-case milestone in the U.S. market in 2014, according to Impact Databank, accelerating from a 3% growth rate in 2013. That performance included a strong start for its newly launched Roca Patrón line ($70-$90 a 750-ml.), which exceeded the company’s internal sales target by more than 65%.

Patrón says its portfolio enjoyed a robust holiday showing at the end of 2014, following a year in which it launched more new products than any year in the company’s history. In addition to Roca Patrón, the group’s 2014 U.S. launches included Gran Patrón Piedra extra añejo, Patrón Citronge Lime Liqueur and Patrón XO Cafe Incendio, a hot chile and chocolate liqueur.
