Bacardi Confirms Mike Dolan As Permanent CEO

Bacardi Ltd. has confirmed that Mike Dolan, who was appointed interim CEO of the company in May 2014, is now the company’s permanent CEO. 

Bacardi didn’t issue any news release or statement regarding the change in Dolan’s status, but last November, chairman Facundo Bacardi sent a letter to shareholders of the family-owned company notifying them that “Mike Dolan has agreed to become the permanent CEO. Having used his brief period of initiation in the interim CEO role to gain an even deeper insight into the company’s brands and its people, we are delighted that the confidence Mike gained in the company’s potential to succeed encouraged him to take on the role permanently.” Dolan, who was named a Bacardi board member in 2009, was previously CEO of IMG Worldwide.
