•Cooperstown, New York-based Brewery Ommegang is launching Nirvana IPA this April as its first-ever IPA offering. The brewery has previously focused on Belgian-style ales. The latest release also marks the brewery’s first collaboration with Missouri’s Boulevard Brewing, which was acquired by Belgium-based Ommegang owner Duvel Moortgat in 2013. Nirvana IPA (6.5% abv) is brewed with Bravo, Simcoe, Centennial, Topaz and Mosaic hops and dry-hopped with Centennial, Citra, Simcoe and Amarillo hops. Nirvana IPA will be available mid-April in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut for about $9.99 a six-pack.

•Fort Collins, Colorado’s Odell Brewing is releasing Brazzle Sour Golden Raspberry Ale as part of its Cellar Series. The golden ale was oak-aged in barrels for just over two years and brewed with golden raspberries for a touch of sweetness that complements the tart fruit and citrus flavor, the company says. Brazzle is available in 750-ml. cork-and-cage bottles and will be distributed within the Odell’s 11-state distribution footprint this spring. Other offerings from Odell include 90 Shilling, IPA and Wolf Picker Experimental Pale Ale.
