•Fort Collins, Colorado-based New Belgium Brewing is set to enter Kentucky this month. The brewer has announced partnerships with nearly a dozen distributors in the market, including Eagle Distributing, Golden Eagle Distributing, J.B. Distributors, Bud of Hopkinsville, Kentucky Eagle, Perry Distributors, River City Distributing, Smith Brothers Distributing, Stagnaro Distributing, Edward Utley Jr. and Heidelberg of Northern Kentucky. Starting March 2, New Belgium’s year-round Fat Tire, Ranger IPA, Slow Ride Session IPA and Snapshot Wheat labels will be available on draft and in 12-ounce bottles across the market, with seasonals and variety packs also offered in 12-ounce formats. With the addition of Kentucky, New Belgium’s U.S. footprint now spans 38 states.

•Colorado’s Oskar Blues Brewery has introduced the latest edition of its Gubna Imperial IPA seasonal. Rolling out this month, 2015’s Gubna release is mash-hopped with Galena hops, kettle-hopped with Columbus and Sorachi Ace, finished with another helping of Galena, and dry-hopped with El Dorado, Comet and Chinook hops. Gubna will be available through July, both on draft and in 12-ounce four-packs, across Oskar Blues’ 42-market footprint. An annual spring release, Gubna Imperial IPA is produced using a different hop bill each year. Oskar Blues’ production has grown from 60,000 barrels in 2011 to 150,000 barrels last year.
