•Hood River, Oregon’s Full Sail Brewing is mulling an acquisition offer from Oregon Craft Brewers Co., a group comprised of local Oregon investors who are partnered with San Francisco-based Encore Consumer Capital. Full Sail Brewing co-founder Irene Firmat has put the offer before the staff and shareholders of the employee-owned brewer, who are expected to vote shortly. The offer for Full Sail comes following the recent acquisitions of two Pacific Northwest craft brewers by AB InBev: Oregon’s 10 Barrel and Seattle’s Elysian Brewing respectively.
•San Diego, California-based Saint Archer Brewing Company is releasing a limited edition, hop-forward offering, Mosaic Double IPA. Showcasing the Mosaic hop’s citrus, berry, tropical fruit and pine aroma, it is also brewed with Amarillo, Simcoe and Chinook hops, the company says. Mosaic Double IPA will be available in 22-ounce bottles at select retailers and on draft at the brewer’s tasting room. Saint Archer debuted in 2013 with its Blonde/Kolsch-style ale, Pale Ale and IPA and has since added a Wheat Ale.
