China’s ASC Fine Wines Names New CEO

ASC Fine Wines, one of China’s pioneering wine importers, will come under new leadership June 1. John Watkins, who has served as the company’s CEO since 2012, is leaving the group to join a multinational company outside the drinks industry. Watkins will be replaced by Bruno Baudry, who was most recently managing director, Codorníu Asia. Prior to joining Codorníu in 2013, Baudry held a series of executive roles during a 14-year tenure with France’s Castel Group. ASC, the top premium wine importer in China, is part of Suntory Wines International Limited.
