Absolut Bottle Gets New Look

Pernod Ricard has unveiled a redesigned bottle for its Absolut vodka brand. Changes include an updated two-line logo, a new script, a revamped medallion, reduced glass weight and a new “brand signifier” on the back of the bottle. Done in collaboration with Brand Union, the new design also features more clearly defined shoulders, a straightened neck and body and a flattened bottom. Absolut’s new bottle will be in distribution worldwide starting this coming fall and winter. The U.S. market’s top imported vodka brand, Absolut was down 7% to 4.1 million cases last year.
