•San Jose, California’s Gordon Biersch Brewing Co. has released Sommerbrau, a returning summer seasonal. The Kölsch-style beer, which is brewed with 80% pale-malted barley and 20% malted wheat, is currently available at retail through July, priced at $8.99-$9.99 a six-pack. Along with Sommerbrau, Gordon Biersch’s seasonal portfolio includes its Winterbock, Festbier and Maibock entries. Gordon Biersch Brewing has an annual production capacity of around 1.8 million (2.25-gallon) cases.
