May 20, 2015•Somerville, Massachusetts-based Bantam Cider Co. is debuting its first canned offering with the launch of its The Americain cider in 12-ounce canned four-packs. Previously available as a limited release in 22-ounce bottles, The Americain cans will be offered year-round throughout Massachusetts, priced at around $8.99 a four-pack. Along with The Americain, Bantam Cider’s lineup includes its Wunderkind, La Grande and Rojo ciders, each of which are available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft.
•San Francisco’s Distillery No. 209 has named John Tarver vice president/national sales manager. Tarver joins Distillery No. 209 from Pacific Highway Wines & Spirits, where he most recently served as vice president-director West region. Distillery No. 209’s portfolio includes its No. 209 Gin, No. 209 Kosher-for-Passover Gin, No. 209 Kosher-for-Passover Vodka and No. 209 Barrel Reserve Gin.
