•Wisconsin-based Stevens Point Brewery is extending availability of its Point Coast Radler seasonal to more than 30 states this summer. Previously available only in select markets, Point Coast Radler features a blend of beer, lemon-lime and grapefruit flavors. This year’s edition will be sold across Stevens Point’s full footprint, offered on draft and in canned 12-packs and bottled six-packs. In addition to Point Coast Radler, Stevens Point’s seasonal lineup includes the Apricadabra Apricot Wheat Ale, Point Oktoberfest and Point St. Benedict’s Winter Ale.

•Newport, Oregon-based Rogue Ales & Spirits has partnered with Oregon State University and The Partnership for Interdisciplinary Studies of Coastal Oceans (PISCO) research program to release Wasted Sea Star Purple Pale Ale. Brewed using purple corn nectar, Wasted Sea Star was created to raise awareness of Sea Star Wasting Syndrome, a deadly disease affecting sea stars across the Pacific Ocean and U.S. A portion of proceeds from the brew’s sales will be used to fund PISCO’s research on the pandemic. Rolling out across Oregon, Washington and California in June, Wasted Sea Star is set to expand nationwide throughout the summer.
