•Guarachi Wine Partners has launched Surf Swim, a new California Chardonnay, nationwide. Debuting with a 2013 vintage, Surf Swim is made with Chardonnay sourced from coastal vineyards and intended to appeal to both Baby Boomers and Millennials. The new entry, which features vintage surf culture-inspired packaging, is retail-priced at $9.99 a 750-ml. In addition to Surf Swim, Guarachi Wine Partners’ portfolio includes its proprietary Black Ink, Guarachi Family Wines, Nobilissima and Tenshən brands.

•North American Breweries has unveiled new packaging for its Genesee range of beers. The updated look, which includes a return to the original name of Genesee Light (from Genny Light)—as well as graphic changes to Genesee Beer, Genesee Cream Ale and Genesee Ice—began hitting shelves across the Northeast last week. The overhaul includes the addition of a wheat stalk to Genesee’s packaging, amongst other graphic updates, and a designation as New York state’s oldest brewery. North American Breweries’ other brands include Original Honey Brown Lager, Dundee Ales & Lagers and Seagram’s Escapes.
