June 9, 2015•Pernod Ricard will invest €17 million ($19m) in Irish Distillers’ Fox and Geese bottling facility, which handles Irish whiskey brands Jameson, Paddy and Powers, Ireland’s The Journal reports. The expansion at the facility in Clondalkin, about six miles from Dublin, will increase bottling capacity by about 50% from about 5 million nine-liter cases to 7.5 million cases, and create 30 jobs. In 2013, Irish Distillers unveiled a $160 million distillery expansion in Midleton that doubled Jameson’s capacity. The brand reached 2 million cases in the U.S. on 10% growth in 2014, according to Impact Databank.
